Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission mention the tentative number of vacancies in the official notification. The Commission can increase or decrease the number of vacancies in the exam as per the requisition received from the state departments. The last date to add up the vacancies in the current year before the Prelims exam. There are 176 vacancies in the UPPSC PCS 2023 exam. 

The Vacancy requisition received after the prelims exam are forwarded to next year exam.

Yes, UPPSC UPPCS prelims answer key is released for each paper and for each set separately. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) releases the answer key pdf online only. The commission releases the answer to all the questions of all sets. The Commission also mention that if any question is droppped from the paper or not.

The Commission released the UPPSC PCS 2023 Prelims answer key (tentative) in June 2023.

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) releases the offiical answer key for the UPPCS prelims exam. The Commission releases the UPPSC prelims answer key PDF online only. The Commission releases the answer key for all sets. The candidates can check their answers from the official answer key and calculate their marks from it.

The candidates should calculate their UPPSC prelims marks by adding the marks for the correct answers and deducting the marks for the incorrect answers.

There are three exam centres for UPPSC main exam. The Commission conduct the UPPSC Main exam in three cities only. These cities are Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad. The Ghaziabad is added lately after the demand of the candidates. The UPPSC main exam is a descriptive type exam conducted offline.

The UPPSC Prelims exam is conducted in 51 districts across the state.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission allot the UPPCS prelims exam centres based on the first apply first allot basis. In most cases, the applicant get the UPPSC exam centre of their choice. The Commission conduct the exam in 51 districts across the state but there are 76 disctricts in the state. Hence some candidates face the problem of travelling to the nearest exam centre from their place of residence.

For the main exam, there are only three cities where the exam is conducted. The UPPSC main exam is conducted in three districts namely - Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad.

There are 21 districts where the UPPSC PCS 2022 prelims exam was conducted. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission does not conduct the UPPSC PCS Prelims exam in all of its districts. There are 76 districts in Uttar Pradesh but the UPPSC Prelims is conducted in 21 districts only. 

The candidates were required to travel to the exam centre and pay for the traveling and accomodation because in most cases the exam centres are not allotted to the nearest city to the candidates residence.

UPPSC PCS syllabus can be covered in 1 to 1.5 years time with a consistent effort. The UPPSC toppers and mentors always suggest covering the UPPSC PCS main syllabus first. Most of the topics are common for the prelims and main exam. The candidates are suggested to prepare the UPPCS syllabus in a integrated manner.

The candidates should start preparing with the NCERT Books and then go for the standard reference books.

The Commission removed the optional subject from the UPPSC Main exam. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission removed the optional subject based on the directives of the State Government. Earlier, the total number of subjects in the UPPSC PCS exam is 29 including four literature subjects. The candidates were required to select one of the optional subjects from the list. The General Studies, Hindi, and Essay paper were compulsory to all the candidates. The Commission should do the answer writing practice during preparation.

UPPSC 2023 Main exam will be conducted from September 26 based on the new syllabus and exam pattern.

Yes, the UPPSC PCS syllabus 2023 will be changed because the optional subject has been removed from the UPPSC Main exam.The Commission will introduce two papers which will ask the local folklore, traditions, and other Uttar Pradesh specific General Knowledge. The Commission will soon release the official notification mentioning the said changes officially.

The Commission introduced the two papers in the UPPSC Main exam. The Commission did not release the syllabus for the newly introduced syllabus.

No, the UPPSC PCS main exam pattern was not changed but the Commission removed the Optional subject from the main exam and introduced the General Studies Paper 5 and 6. These papers will ask the Uttar Pradesh specific topics and questions related to the local folklore of the state.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission under the directives of the State Government, removed the optional subject from the main exam. The UPPSC Main exam is conducted as the offline exam in the pen and paper mode.
