Hi Sweety,
To study in USA, you must take the SAT and TOEFL, so prepare for the same. You must focus on improving your overall profile vey importantly because American universities don't just look at the percentage.Take part in extracurricular activities, if our want to study political science and then show some solid project work, articles, blogs, etc. that you may have written or taken part in. Your hobbies will also count.

Hi Nataraj,
The USA has two main intakes, Fall and Spring. Fall intake which starts in early September has deadlines from September until early January of the previous year, that is you have to prepare one year before the intake.Similarly for Spring intake which starts around January has deadlines from May to September of the previous year.

Hello Prakhar, a score of around 1400 is a safe one. If you are aspiring for an university in USA, you better build a strong all rounded profile and also extracurricular activities are very important. They don't prefer boring students. Sports, voluntary work, arts and cultural activities, research and project works must be demonstrated.

No, I am sorry to say that you won't be accepted by any reputed American university. I would suggest you to apply for European countries.

Hello Yug,
Of course you have got quite less score. See, if there are more students who wish to join a particular Institute, obviously cutoff will rise. If less students apply then cut off too gets lowered. I feel you need to select Institute which attracts less students for better chance of getting admission.
