Marks will depend on the toughness of question paper. If you get a rank below 7000 or 9000 you can get CSE. Good Luck.

Any course in VIT is worth studying because of various factors
Such as
Experienced Faculties
Great facilities
Quality placements
Multiple job offers
Internship opportunities
Student exchange programs
Learning for life ( Cosmopolitan Environment )
Different Values / multiple languages / multiple cultural exposure

Easy entry to other countries etc.

Phase 1 :rank 1 to 20k
Phase 2:rank 20k to 100k
If you have rank under 20k you are 80% sure of getting any branch .
But with donation that is phase 2 fees which is quite higher than phase 1 fees you can get other branches.
last year all the students who secured a rank below 1 lakh were called for the counselling.
Cs & IT usually fill fast and for rank above 50k would be available in cat. 4/5 whose fees is quite higher
Conclusion Cs IT difficult to get
Chances of getting are in cat. 4/5 that too in Chennai campus
If opting other branches then chances increase to a good no.
