Dear Student, Vellore Institute of Technology is a private deemed university with rank 9 under the "Engineering" category (NIRF). It offers a 5-year integrated postgraduate programme (MTech in software engineering).
As of now, there is no entrance exam-based criteria for this particular course. To be eligible, you must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State or Central Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with a 65% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
It does have a merit-based fee structure as follows:
Category 1 tuition fee ( 1-3years): INR 96,000
Category 2 tuition

Vellore Institute of Technology is a private deemed university. It ranks 9 under the Engineering category, respectively, in the NIRF 2022 Rankings, released on July 15. Candidates must meet the VITEEE Cutoff of 2022 to be admitted to VIT University's campuses. You can't get in with an average CAT Score and without a good profile but no worries you can opt for Next Year as CAT is held every year on the Last Sunday of November.

The minimum eligibility for the Bachelor of Business Administration course at VIT is 10+2 from a recognized board with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Final admission is granted on the basis od marks in last qualifying examination followed by university-based counselling.

Yes, but it depends on your M.Tech rank. If your rank is below 2k then you have a high possibility of getting into Vellore VIT. If your rank is above 2k and below 5k then there is a slight possibility of getting into it but prepare your mindset, because you might end up getting in VIT Chennai in the highest possible case.

Candidates must have passed 10+2/equivalent in any stream with mentioned overall aggregate marks from a recognized board/institute.
Candidates hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/ Ladakh and the North-Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura need 50% in qualifying exam to be eligible.
Final year candidates can also apply on a provisional basis.
Other eligibility criteria
Candidates who have passed Diploma in any stream with a minimum of 60% overall aggregate are also eligible to apply.
