The minimum cutoff of BCA at VIT Vellore. A pass in any stream with minimum overall aggregate of 65% with Mathematics / Business Mathematics / Applied Mathematics as one of the subjects in the qualifying examination 10+2 or equivalent. So aggregate marks above 65% in 12th are good enough for getting BCA.

You have unrestricted access to campus as a day scholar and can enter and exit at any time. But the following strange rules are in effect at the VIT campuses in Vellore and Chennai, specifically for hostel guests:
1) After 9:00 pm, you are not permitted to wander the campus.
2) Birthdays cannot be celebrated at a hostel. Birthday celebrations outside the hostel but in front of the staff are permitted during a set period of time specified by the hostel administration.

Dear student
Marks will depend on the toughness of question paper. If you get a rank below 7000 or 9000 you can get CSE. Good Luck.

See VIT admissions are divided into 2 phases
Phase 1 :rank 1 to 20k
Phase 2:rank 20k to 100k
If you have rank under 20k you are 80% sure of getting any branch .
But with donation that is phase 2 fees which is quite higher than phase 1 fees you can get other branches.
last year all the students who secured a rank below 1 lakh were called for the counselling.
Cs & IT usually fill fast and for rank above 50k would be available in cat. 4/5 whose fees is quite higher
Conclusion Cs IT difficult to get
Chances of getting are in cat. 4/5 that too in Chennai campus
If opting other branches then chances increase to a good no.
