Admission Process for BVSc
Admission in the undergraduate Veterinary course is based on the entrance exam results. However, to be eligible for the entrance examination, one must have a minimum score of 50% in class 12th with Physics Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.

In terms of Government and Semi Government jobs, B.Sc. Agriculture is better. B.Sc. Graduates can work in Veterinary department of State government as Veterinary doctors. Other than this, chances of getting government jobs is limited. But one can start his/her private practice.

For the last many years, Lala Ljpatrai Raj of Animal and Vet Science College used to conduct its own entrance exam to test the students as per their criteria. To get into BVSC and AH courses, you just have to appear for the NEET examination and be sure to pass it with good scores. As for the general category, the cut-off varies greatly. The cut-off marks come out based on the number of students who appeared for the exam so it is difficult to give you an exact number but roughly. You can expect it to be around 535 marks.
