You have to give VITEEE exam to take admission in VIT University. JEE Main rank has nothing to do with VIT so it's not possible. Yes, definitely there is a chance. You may get this college. Apply within time (before deadlines of your CAP rounds). Also, just go through the previous year cut-offs for your desired branch once.

Teachers are good and hold Ph.D degrees. Curriculum is well-designed. Playground and sports facilities are excellent. Football ground is good.
