Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) admissions 2024 are entrance based. Candidates who wish to take admission to VTU BTech proramme must appear for the entrance examination. The College does not offer direct admission to candidates in any of the programmes. Candidates who wish to take admission to the BTech programme must appear for either KCET or COMEDK and qualify the eligiblity criteria.

Visvesvaraya Technological University accepts multiple entrance exams fro BTech. KCET/ COMEDK UGET/ JEE Main are few of the entrance exams for BTech admission. Candidates are required to apply/regiater for the exam by visiting their official website. However, there are a minimum eligibility criteria for the BTech, which candidates must qualify for admission.

Eligibility Criteria: Class 12 or equivalent qualification with English as one of the language with minimum 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST and OBC category candidates) in Physics and Mathematics along with one optional subject

Yes, Visvesvaraya Technological University does have BTech programme. The BTech programme is offered across the BTech affiliated colleges. VTU BTech admissions are based on a valid score in JEE Main / KCET/ COMEDK UGET. The Unievrsity offers a lateral entry admission to the BTech programme.
