To be eligible for admission to the B.Tech programme at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), candidates must have passed their 10+2 level examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects. They must also have scored a minimum of 60% marks in their 10+2 level board examination from any recognised board of education.
Candidates with a rank below one Lacs will be asked to attend VITEEE counseling. However, this doesn't guarantee admission because it's an elimination process.

The VITEEE cutoff is the minimum rank required to be eligible for admission to a particular course or campus at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). The VITEEE cutoff is prepared by the VIT authorities and it varies for each course, campus, and category.
The VIT authorities do not release the official cut-off. However, the data received by the candidates who appeared for the examination in previous years are used to determine the expected VITEEE 2024 cut-off.

Candidates appearing for the upcoming VIT Engineering Entrance Exam can check the previous year's VITEEE cutoff. It is unlikely that VIT will release the official cut-off based on the previous years trends. The cutoff of VITEEE 2024 if released, will be available category-wise. VITEEE cutoff marks are the minimum marks required in the VIT Engineering Entrance Exam to get admission into the various campuses. The total fee for the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme at VIT Vellore is INR 1.67 lakh. The programme is three years long.
Admission to the BBA programme is based on merit and counseling. Applicants must have passed their Class 12 exams or equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum aggregate of 60%.
VITEEE rank holders in the top 50 receive a 75% tuition fee waiver for all four years. Rank holders 51–100 receive a 50% waiver, and rank holders 101–1000 receive a 25% waiver.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) accepts VITEEE scores for admission to B.Tech courses. Candidates with a VITEEE rank between 7500-27500 are eligible for admission.
VIT also considers JEE Main and SAT exam scores for admission to B.Tech. However, VIT doesn't consider any other entrance score for B.Tech admission.
To be eligible for admission, candidates must:
•Pass with a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)
•Pass with a minimum overall aggregate of 60%
•Be NATA qualified
VIT's four campuses are in Vellore, Chennai, Amravati, and Bhopal.

The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has five fee categories, ranging from INR 200,000 to INR 500,000 per year. The category depends on the branch and campus.
Here are some VIT course fees:
B.Tech: INR 173,000–195,000 per year for Groups A and B
MBA: INR 351,500 for the first year
UG courses: INR 57,000–313,000
VIT fees are paid at the beginning of the year in one installment. The fees are divided into two parts: academics and hostel and mess.

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering or any other examination recognised as equivalent there to, from a recognised Institute/ University, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are also eligible. Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.
