VIT Vellore scholarships and fee concessions are offered to economically weaker students as well to help them pursue their further education and to make them realise their true potential. Smt. Rajeswari Viswanathan Memorial Scholarship is offered by the institute to meritorious students from economically weak background. Apart from this, students are open to government scholarships. Scholarships offered at the university for BTech applicants are based on their performance in VITEEE and they may avail scholarships based on the same as listed below:

• GV School Development Programme (GVSDP) – Toppers of state/ central board along with VITEEE rank holders are given tuition fee waivers of 100% for up to four years. The table below shows the bifurcation of tuition fee waivers against the total merit:
