Hello,
CSE versus ECE. The debate goes on from year to year. However, from the perspective of placements, CSE outscores ECE by miles. At least in the force-able future, this situation is likely to continue and the students will get placed. As you seem to like both the branches equally I would rather advise you to go for CSE since at least for the present and also in near future opportunities in this branch or really great. Best wishes to you.

Hi. VIT Vellore officials do not release any VITEEE cutoff data for the past years. However, as per the data collated from multiple sources regarding VITEEE 2020 cutoff, here are a few important highlights and predictions for VITEEE 2021 cutoff:
VIT (most probably) will call the first 20,000 rank holders of VITEEE 2021 for phase-1 of counselling which will start from July 2021 onward
This deemed university uses equating methodology to calculate candidates marks
Candidates with a score of 118 or above are likely to fall between 1-250 rank range
Those with less than 31 marks are expected to have a rank of 20,000 or below.

Ofcourse yes you can get CS branch but you have to clear entrance exam. If you have good percentile then you will be eligible for choose branch. Basically it depends upon students and his performance in entrance exam. Every year have different cut off. So student most have High percentile. If your dream to do B.Tech from computer Science branch then you most to hard and smartly study.

Dear aspirant, Great interacting with you. There are roughly 200 seats in the 1st category and 100 in each of the other 4 categories in every branch. So as the students start taking admission, the seats start getting filled, starting from the first category seats, and then moving to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th categories. So you can end up getting CSE in the 5th category even with a rank of 10k while on the other hand, you may get Civil in the first category even with a rank of 30k. Hope it helps. As you know that CSE is the most demanded branch specially in Vellore campus because CSE has better career opportunities and placements so

Hello! Himadri Basu, it is very nice to hear from you about enquiry of cutoff ranks or enquiry about possibilities of getting the branches you mention with ranking of about 1.2 Lacs. To put you into a proper perspective let me say that the first round closing rank for CSE was 7000 while for the other branches that you have mention it varies and is up to about 14000. This does not mean that you will not get admission, it only means that you need to wait for vacancies to arise as students who are in the better position leave for IIT or nits and then the students who have scored less get a chance for admission with lower scores.
