Infrastructure wise, Bhubaneswar is better, as it is having a lush green 16 acres campus. The faculty of IMI-B is also better than that of Kolkata. Placement scenario is almost the same for both the colleges. Both are student driven. IMI Bhubaneswar was established before Kolkata. Overall, I would say it's just a 19:20 ratio difference between both of them. So, you can chose any one. Decision is up to you.

The eligibility criteria may vary from institute to institute for which you plan to apply. Some may conduct entrance exam and others may take admission directly. I would suggest you to decide on the college and check the eligibility criteria for the same.

As I don't know what stream you are talking about, I'll give you all the information. Stream - approximately. Cut off GMR
ECE- 200
CSE- 600
IT- 2000
ME- 200
EE -200-250
CE- 150-200.

Physical requirements to get into IMU are not much different from any other engineering college. Eye Vision- 6/6
Height-More than 5
Should not be allergic with water, etc. There is a very little chance of not getting into IMU due to physical requirements.
