Scholar-Level 18 Hello Mohammad,
It is very nice to see your desire to do a diploma in mechanical engineering. As you have said that you live in a Gulf area and cannot attend regular classes, I suggest you should go for correspondence course. There are plenty of Institutions including the one which you are thinking of which offer correspondence course. Of course you will have to come to India to give exams as normally none of these institutions offer any place of examination outside India. In addition perhaps you will have to give some address in India to receive your books for studies also. Best wishes to you. New answer posted 6 years ago

Contributor-Level 8 I first appreciate your thought of joining Railways, and I want to clear you something. If you are really wishing for posts like ALP, Je( your Polytechnic Diploma is eligible, but I want to make sure that you have done your polytechnic Diploma in regular basis, and it is a valid undergraduate program approved by AICTE.)In that case, you are eligible to appear for an exam in railways. So, you could apply for that post easily, when you can compete.
