DTU - Delhi Technological University Answered Questions

Hi Arnav,the college is good overall. It has almost all the facilities. The campus is not very big but its still pretty big. Infrastructure is good. You will have to attend the classes as there are few bunks. This college is mostly known for its placement only. It has exceptionally good placements and ranks among top 5 in placements category. On an average the average package in totality is around Rs.10 lacs with some branches having higher. The CS branch has max placement. I think if u r delhi candidate
200+ in JEE Mains with 80%+ in cbse board exam are safe to grab a core branch in dtu.
I haveno idea about thapar university, but my experience will say home state quota student shoul keep their score 180+ in JEE Mains to get admission in thapar university

DTU ranks among the top 5 colleges in terms of placements. On an average the average package in totality is around Rs.10 lacs with some branches having higher. Around 100 companies come to DTU. Hi Jyoti,first you will need to attend the counseling for the college and if you get the approval for college then immediately submit the required documents in the hostel office present near the counseling center. You will need to submit the admission letter and some of the forms made available by them. After that you will be required to submit some documents like address proof,aadhar card,electricity bill etc. about which you will be informed there. The downside of DTU is that not every one gets hostel. Priority order is-NRI>Kashmiri Migrants>Outside delhi>Students applying from delhi region but having home ouside delhi>Delhi region in order of distance.Others have to manage themselves but there are several PG and flats available which you can take on sharing basis.PLEASE UPVOTE THE ANSWET TO ALLOW ME TO CONTINUE HELPING PEOPLE LIKE YOU.

Hi Sadhna, B.Tech in CS is available. There are almost 130 seats. 85% seats are reserved for Delhi region students, and in it there are reservations for various categories as all other colleges.
