B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2025
4.4
5Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Good placements, even in 2023.
Placements: Last year (in 2023-24 session) even in recession from Electronics 50% of the batch was placed with an average package of 17 LPA. The highest package was 64 LPA and the lowest package was 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Texas Instruments, Google hardware, Amazon, Nvidia, etc. Around 10% of the batch got internship in on-campus internships drive in companies like Atlassian, Amazon, etc. Top roles that were offered are SDE, System Design Engineer, Design Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty good. There is a central library which is centrally air conditioned and has Wi-Fi connectivity making the latest publications and journals accessible to all the enrolled students. There are good classrooms with Wi-Fi connectivity and air conditioning. Also, the labs are well-equipped with latest apparatuses and Wi-Fi connectivity. Hostel facilities are great having 24 hour electricity, Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity, etc. Hostel mess food is quite good. The canteen food is good enough as well. There is a hospital within the campus with basic medication available and also there is a facility of 24 hours ambulance in the campus for free. Sports facilities are above average and annually 3-4 sports event happen in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and qualified for the course. but somehow, they're not able to make the classes more engaging. Maybe because of the old fashioned way of their teaching. The course curriculum is relevant in the modern time but needs to be shifted to more practical based learning. The semester exams are moderate in terms of difficulty. One can achieve 8+ CGPA with a study of one week before the semester exams.
Other: I wanted to explore the area of long range satellite communication that's why I chose this course. The best thing about the course is that it gives a comprehensive knowledge of all the aspects of communication engineering along with the flexibility of choosing courses of your own interest in 3rd and 4th year. I would say practical based and project based learning must be implemented in the course to make it more engaging. The connectivity is very good by metro and DTC buses. Fests are also organised every year majorly in the month of February. Engifest, Yuvaan, Aahvaan, etc. are some of the popular fest. Campus crowd is pretty much approachable. The students can take part in extracurricular activities through different societies and clubs. There are a plenty of scholarships available for the students like from NSP, Delhi Government scholarship, Delhi Higher education authority, Dell scholarship, Kotal Kanya scholarship, ONGC scholarship, DTU alumni scholarship, and DTU also provides scholarships based on the needs of the students.

Best infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: Despite DTU providing the best mechanical course in Asia, they provide good placements too, companies like Maruti Suzuki and Kia are the main recruiters in this college. Almost 75% of students get placed. The highest in mechanical engineering is 64 LPA and the minimum is 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, AC, 3 floors are available in the library, it is one the best libraries among colleges now regarding hostels, first-year hostels are a bit too old, but hostels for 2nd, 3rd and 4th-year are good. Students are best also the girl's hostel is premium. Except for swimming all sports are available in the college, and top-notch badminton courts are available.
Faculty: Teachers will surely help students at every step so their teaching quality is best. For mechanical they will make you industry-ready. Semester exams are bit difficult or mid-range. A total of 33 marks are needed out of 100 per subject. The electrical department of the college is a bit strict but other things are just perfect.
Other: I was getting this branch according to my rank. The teachers are the best thing in my course. Fest, crowd and extracurricular activities are top-notch at DTU.

Good decision to be a part of college.
Placements: Placements in DTU are fine! One can expect a good job in a great mnc company if he has good skills. In mathematics and computing branch 90 percent of students are placed last year with an average package of 15 Lacs per annum all big mnc companies came.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and campus of DTU is great but mess and hostel are not too good. Rent of hostel is quite high compared to other government colleges. Decent facilities are provided by the college like Wi-Fi, canteen, sports court etc. There is a big room for improvement required.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are a big drawback in this college. The professors are least qualified and don't have knowledge to teach. Semester exams are easy and some days of study before exams can get u good grades. -no, it does not make u industry ready.

All you need to know about DTU.
Placements: Top recruiters are Google, Meta, Apple, Samsung, Amazon etc. The highest package is 82.05 LPA (domestic), Average 17LPA. Top roles are SDE, Web Developer, Data Scientist etc. Internship percentage for on campus is not good compared to number of students. Placement percentage last year was 62% and year before 88%.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi has large range and good speed, Labs are most well-equipped, Classrooms are large enough to accomodate all the students. Library has approximately 3,00,000 books, journals, research papers. Hostel quality is very bad for first year students, would not recommend anybody. Mess has good food. Canteen is not worth anything. Campus has almost every sports facility.
Faculty: Most of the professors are well qualified and knowledgeable in their fields. The course is quite relevant as per industry. And make students industry ready. Difficulty level of semester exams are above average level. Mid semester exams are usually very easy to score in some subjects.
Other: Due to my JEE Mains Rank, It was the best one I was getting at DTU. Curriculum has improved than before but can be improved more. DTU's main cultural fest is ENGIFEST, along with other fest. There are many Extracurricular activities held in DTU over the academic year.

Placements: Our college is the best in providing placements. Every year hundreds of companies come to our campus for recruitment. A:
Usually, the cutoff for DTU stays around 90, even for the reserved categories. Therefore, getting into B.Tech courses at DTU is difficult with a JEE Main percentile score of 90 or below. The cutoff also goes high and low every year, depending on the following factors: Number of aspirants registered, The difficulty level of the exam, Total number of seats available, total number of applications received for a particular program, and the category under which admission is sought. Therefore, it is very difficult to predict the exact cutoff and give an exact answer to this question.

A:
The Electrical Engineering programme at Delhi Technological University (DTU) is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the principles and applications of electrical engineering. Here are some ways in which the Electrical Engineering programme at DTU differs from other colleges: Curriculum: The curriculum of the Electrical Engineering programme at DTU is regularly updated to keep up with the latest developments in the field. The programme includes courses in power systems, electrical machines, control systems, electronics, and communication. Faculty: The faculty members of the Electrical Engineering department at DTU are highly experienced and have expertise in various areas of electrical engineering. They regularly engage in research and innovation, which benefits the students. Q:   Which college is better to pursue BTech in Mechanical Engineering- DTU or NSIT?

A:
As confirmed by a final-year Mechanical undergraduate at DTU-Professors, academics, labs and everything else may be comparable but you aren't going to study all the time. So, when it comes to activities outside the classroom, DTU trumps NSIT easily. Be it curricular fests, sports activities, cultural societies, lenient environment, better infrastructure or even campus as a whole, DTU is far better than NSIT. And taking into consideration the reputation and demand of Mechanical, DTU's Mechanical Engineering stream trumps NSIT's. Even in the field of placements, companies prefer DTU over NSIT for the recruitment of Mechanical Engineering. NSIT needs time to set up its brand when it comes to Mechanicals. '
