No you can't. Try for private universities such as Manipal or VGU, Jaipur.

DSM started MBA with 30 seats, each year it is increasing the number of seats due to which it has to maintain a cut-off of 75 percentile. But irrespective of the cut-off each year the percentile of students converting is on increasing trend. In our current batch we have many students with percentile in range of 90-95. it is expected to go higher this year.

Hello Nishant, considering the review of my friends in other colleges , I can say that every college has its own process of teaching and therefore I would like to list out some of the differences:
1. DTU will get you good packages at the times of placement .
2. The living conditions and the environment that DTU offers is better than most of the government colleges in INDIA.
3. The fees is a bit on the higher side compared to other colleges.
4. If you want to take ECE for studying the core branch then DTU is excellent. But if you want to get into ECE and study Computer Coding then you must choose IT in DTU which is available for the same rank or choose some other college. Because DTU doesn't allow for other branch study and you will have to study only of ECE subjects coz the pressure is such.
I have listed out the details and now its upto you to see which college suits you.
But if I say over this then , I am pretty happy to choose DTU over other colleges.

Hi Manjeet , from question I understand that you are asking about ECE branch at DTU. If so, then I can very reasonably tell you that the performance id very good, in terms of both placements and the number of events that are conducted all around the year to give you a practical approach to your studies. If I speak about me, then I am not too much into ECE but even then it keeps me pretty engrosed. You will have to do a lot of studies if you want to excel in the practical approach which help during placements. There are several societies in the college which you can join and benefit a lot from. There is also scope for getting place in IT companies if you are into coding.
So overall the aspects of the college are pretty good both in terms of placement and environment.

Hi Girish, DSM generally follow 80:20 rule for CAT:GD/PI. With this percentile you have good chances of converting, just prepare well for GDPI. All the best

Dear Sir/Madam, Is the placement process of DSM and DTU the same or does the department has its own TnP? Do all DTU companies come to DSM?

Hi Aayush, DSM has its own Training and Placement cell which is solely driven by students with support from faculty members. DSM has its own database of companies which recruits only DSM students. There are also certain companies like Google, etc which recruits from Engineering department of DTU as well as from DSM. At present Engineering and Management departments have different TnP cells but in future they are likely to be merge.
