Hi Manjeet , from question I understand that you are asking about ECE branch at DTU. If so, then I can very reasonably tell you that the performance id very good, in terms of both placements and the number of events that are conducted all around the year to give you a practical approach to your studies. If I speak about me, then I am not too much into ECE but even then it keeps me pretty engrosed. You will have to do a lot of studies if you want to excel in the practical approach which help during placements. There are several societies in the college which you can join and benefit a lot from. There is also scope for getting place in IT companies if you are into coding.
So overall the aspects of the college are pretty good both in terms of placement and environment.

You are welcome to DTU and you will not regret it. Its really fun and learn.

Hi Girish, DSM generally follow 80:20 rule for CAT:GD/PI. With this percentile you have good chances of converting, just prepare well for GDPI. All the best

Dear Sir/Madam, Is the placement process of DSM and DTU the same or does the department has its own TnP? Do all DTU companies come to DSM?

There are also certain companies like Google, etc which recruits from Engineering department of DTU as well as from DSM. At present Engineering and Management departments have different TnP cells but in future they are likely to be merge.

Hi Shubhankar, last year cut off of GD/PI for SC was 60 percentile. Conversion depends a lot on your performance in GD/PI. Fill the form and prepare well for GD/PI. All the best.

Yes Aayush DTU recently framed policy of Deferred Placement, DSM being a part of DTU will also follow the same policy. According to this policy if you being a student of DTU go for any start up you can defer your placement for two years.
