<p>No, students can't get admission in IIITDM Kancheepuram without appearing for any of the accepted entrance exam. The institute accepts students only through entrance + counselling/ PI basis. Even for Non-GATE applicants, appearing for the institute's written test is required.</p>

<p>Students who are selected for M.Tech admissions are eligible for scholarships. Selection is done by the university on the basis of GATE scores. The scholarships are provided on the basis of Graduation marks. Students with 60% and above marks are eligible. Students who have more than 80% marks are given a scholarship amount of INR 12,000. &nbsp;</p>
