<p>The university may follow a seat reservation. Total 25% seats are reserved for Uttarakhand domicile students. However, whether the reservation applies for UG or PG courses is not officially mentioned by university. Seat allotment is done by university on the basis of GATE scores.</p>

<p>The selection is completely based on GATE exam score. Candidates have to fill an application form on official university website. Moreover, they can also appear for an online Q-CARE exam. It is a scholarship exam conducted by university. After result announcements, the university allots seats in different courses as per student's preference. Selected students receive a PLA. Students have to pay first semester fee and submit documents within 15 days of receiving PLA.</p>

<p>The GATE exam is conducted in the month of February. Registrations can be done on respective website. The application forms are generally out in last week of August. The application fee is INR 1,000 (female/SC/ST/PWD) and INR 2,000 (Male/General/OBC/EWS). Students have to register separately on university website as well for admission in MTech. <p>Yes, you can pay the fee in installments. The fee for each academic year is divided in nine installments. However, an interest rate of 10% is applicable on EMIs. <p>The total fee is different for state domicile and other students. First year fee for Uttarakhand students ranges for INR 88,000 to INR 1.1 lakh. For other state students, fee ranges from INR 93,000 to INR 1.15 lakh.&nbsp; Fee can be paid semester wise via Demand draft or NEFT/RTGS. Additionally, other charges like transportation, hostel, uniform charges, etc. are also applicable.</p>
