First, complete your graduation and score more than 50 percent marks in it, then prepare for CAT (common admission test) and score well in CAT. After that, select the colleges & MBA specialisation that you want to opt & apply for admission, based on your CAT score. In case you don’t get admission on merit in a college of your choice, then seek admission through management quota in the said college.

It really depends on the level (graduate or undergraduate) and the subject you are applying for. Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, for example, is the most fought over subject and thousands of applications arrive each year from Germany and all over. For this particular subject there are extra rounds of reviews and interviews (which are not applied to other subjects). You can get admission in BIT Sindri, if you have performed well in JEE Mains entrance examination. As admission is done via JEE Mains score and ranks. Also, you need to pass your intermediate board exam also to be eligible.
