<p>Admission to only MBA course at The American College through the MAT exam are open now. Registration for the MAT exam is currently open. Admission to any other course at the college such as BCom, BSc, BVOC, MSc, etc. are not currenty open. Admissions to MBA also through various other exams like TANCET are not open.</p>

You have scored good marks in class 10th and 12th, but the graduation marks are bit low. Some institutes prefer 60% throughout or at least in graduation. You can try applying in colleges, which doesn't have any specific eligibility criteria regarding graduation marks.

Yes, you can get the admission in B.Tech engineering colleges if you have qualified in 12th board exams and some other entrance exams for engineering like JEE Mains, Advanced and CET.

Yes, if you are a graduate with aggregate 50% or more or a last year graduation student, that would also be okay also you have to appear in competitive exam like CAT/CMAT/XAT etc.

Please be specific about the state where you wish to pursue to engineering courses. However you have another option as University/College entrance exams. Most of the reputed Universities conducts their own entrance cum scholarship exams for admission into their B.E/B.Tech programs. Few of them are as under.
1. VIT University conducts VITJEEE
2. Manipal University conducts MET
3. Chandigarh University conducts CUSAT
4. Lovely Professional University conducts LPUNEST
5. AMITY University AMITYJEE
These all the exams are very easy with comparison to JEE Main and you can manage these. One negative aspect with these colleges is very high expenses.
