IIMs select students via CAT exam.
You have to secure a good percentile in such exam say 90 percentile or above.
And also GD, Personal interview,What also required to complete the admission procedure, after you get a call from any IIMs
Work hard on CAT & you will be able to clear it.

For Government colleges you should clear iit main or state level engineering entrance exam and for private colleges you have go to directly for admission
