Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST-2017
Or
In case marks scored in 10+2 are 70% or above, then LPUNEST-2017 will be exempted and candidate may apply for admission.

You can take admission directly in 2nd year of B.Tech only if you have done B.Sc or Diploma in computer engineering. You cannot get into 2nd year B.Tech just via 12th.

Visit the institute in which you want to get your seat reserved. Make sure that you have scored minimum 50% in your graduation and appeared for entrance exam as it is mandatory according to university.

NIOS began accepting applications on September 16, 2024 through January 31, 2025 with standard fees until February 15, 2025 and added a late payment fee of INR 260 for February 16-February 28. The additional fee was INR 520 for February 29-March 15 until the final deadline on March 15, 2025. <p>Yes, the Amity School of Engineering and Technology M.Tech admission criteria is slightly different for sponsored students than non-sponsored students. For non-sponsored students, the eligibility requirements are set at 60% aggregate in the relevant bachelor's degree.</p><p>However, candidates seeking admission via sponsored quota get a 5% relaxation in the eligibility criteria. Apart from this, the fee also differs based on category of seat. Sponsored students are required to pay a higher fee than non-sponsored students.</p>

This is called as lateral admission process. Normally speaking marks obtained in Diploma are the criteria for admission in engineering graduation.
