You can apply before the declaration of CMAT result. But I think the last date of application (PGDM) was 26th January.

XIMR takes its candidates primarily based on CET scores through the CAP rounds. However, if you must apply for institute level seats, your other entrance exam scores will be taken into consideration and you will be considered in the All India(AI) category. For the 2016-2018 batch we had no candidate who was accepted on their CMAT score, however we did have one AI candidate who got in through their 99.31 MAT score (Rank 519). Your scores are less but still you can give a try. There are many good colleges which considers various other parameters such as your performance in GD, PI, academic scores, etc. besides your scores in entrance exams. So, there are fair chances of getting admission in a good college.

The admission process for the academic year 2017-19 for two years Masters in Management Studies (MMS) programme was done through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Maharashtra.
As per the recent notification by DTE apart from Maharashtra MBA CET, only CMAT and CAT exams will be considered for the CAP process. Please note that CMAT and CAT exams will be considered for All India Seats. You can check the notification at the below link:

IMS-Indore does not accept CMAT score. Admission is based on score obtained in Madhya Pradesh Management Joint Entrance Test (MPMJET)/ AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA)

There are colleges that have a holistic approach while evaluating your profile, but with this cutoff it is difficult to get a call this year. It is advisable to take CMAT again.

No idea about KMAT but I can assure you that CMAT is pretty easy. Everyone tends to score higher marks in Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal Sections. The game changer factor for CMAT exam is General Awareness section. Try to focus more on that.
