The CAT (Common Admission Test) and GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) have different structures, focusses, and test formats, but they both evaluate comparable abilities in areas including quantitative thinking, verbal aptitude, and data interpretation. Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR) are the three primary components of the CAT course.
Since every section of CMAT has 20 questions in total, solving 15 to 18 questions in each section with 80 percent accuracy is considered a good attempt in CMAT, and it can ensure a good percentile in the exam. In the GK section, about 10 to 12 correct attempts will be enough. Out of 100 questions, candidates must try to solve about 70 to 75 questions to achieve a 99 percentile. However, candidates must aim to solve a higher number of questions with maximum accuracy and minimize negative marking. To be able to achieve this target, candidates have to prepare for the CMAT in a disciplined manner. Candidates must set aside about three... View more

Hello Ishita,
MIT School of Business is one of the best institutes in and around pune in its own terms. All the colleges you mentioned are good. About MIT School of Business, it has a case based pedagogy which is adopted from Harvard Business School which also includes conceptual style studying and not contextual. Also placements records have been improving every year.
MITSOB is surly better than MITSOM and INDIRA, but BIMM is equally good.

Hi, You have no option to calculate your percentile score because percentile score is depend on -
1)Total no of candidate can appearing in the exam .
2)Number of candidates who have scored less marks than you .
Both are unknown to you so you have not calculate it.Because this information is hidden to candidate .
If you collect above two date then you can easily calculate your percentile.

Both the MAT and CMAT are entrance exams for management programmes, but they vary in a few ways. Both tests, in their opinion, are simpler to ace than the Iims' Common Aptitude Test (CAT). Both tests are speed-based and have a comparable syllabus. In contrast to the CMAT, the MAT offers candidates more choices because more than 1,000 business and management schools accept the MAT score. In contrast, CMAT candidates receive more time during exams than MAT applicants. Furthermore, CMAT is offered twice annually, whereas MAT is offered four times. The decision between the MAT and CMAT ultimately comes down to personal tastes and needs. Resear... View more

Educational Counselor,

There are three parts involved in preparing for any competitive exam.
1. Learning the concepts.
2. Solving questions and papers
3. Evaluation and improving.
You can use Youtube or refer some books to clarify concepts and learn about the test format and structure.
For solving problems you can buy some books by Tata McGraw Hill, Arihant for CAT and Kaplan, GMAT Review for GMAT.
For evaluation and improving, you can solve papers and evaluate them yourself. Find out your weaknesses and work on improving them.
