Basically, there are 3 sections in CAT exam - verbal ability, DILR, Quants.
Verbal ability-
Start reading newspaper daily to increase your reading speed and grasping power. Don't miss out the editorial page. Do proper analysis of articles on editorial page. Try to make summary of articles that you read para by para. However, reading newspaper won't be sufficient. Start solving RCs on a regular basis with proper analysis.
DILR-

Hi Sudip,You won't get CAT exam question papers, but you can get memory based papers, which will provide some of the questions. But, if you want to practice, then purchase mock tests of CAT and start appearing in them. Those will be very helpful.

<p>No, Jain University admissions are currently closed for their BCA programme atleast for the academic year of 2025. Candidates who wish to apply for BCA programme must look forward to 2026 with admissions generally occuring in the months of April to June for most UG courses. From last 2 years i.e 2016 and 2017, the cutoff of IMT is 90% in CAT, but this may vary in the coming years as the cutoff is decided by the administration only.

I am a 2018 CAT aspirant. The CAT exam is been conducted in 2 slots (with 2 different question papers but same pattern)
where the, forenoon session means the exam is conducted from 9 am to 12 pm (reporting time is 7.30 am), whereas the afternoon session means the exam is conducted from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm (reporting time is 1 pm).

There are students who have cleared the cut-offs entirely by self-preparation on one hand, and others who have scored high by attending good coaching institutes. Some of the famous coaching centers in the country are TIMES, Vistamind, Byju's, etc. These coaching centers have branches across almost all metro cities in India, some having multiple branches in the same city as well.
