Hello Prakriti,
As far as I've heard, one can take GMAT as per one's convenience. The CAT notification has been released yesterday, kindly check on their official site. For other exams, there are no notifications as of now especially of SNAP, CMAT and XAT (they are held in Dec-Jan).

Definitely, you will get a good college. The marks you have in your graduation, 10th and 12th, the weightage of these marks is not high; it is up to 5%. But if you have scored low, then it will definitely hinder your selection process. Try to get above 90% and definitely, you will get a good college.

CAT is an exam where students score an enviable 100 percentile as well. It is not essential to get a 100% but then 99 percentile is the score that is the minimum qualifying criteria if you want to get into an IIM.

I prepared for CAT17 and attended classes at Alchemist. It does not currently have a branch in Noida however, they have various facilities which may be helpful to you in terms of time management so you could consider it. Alchemist follows a modular approach which makes it possible to attend classes according to your convenience. As there is no fixed batch you can attend modules repeatedly for the topics you need to work on. I think this could help you if you live far away and are unable to attend class on certain days or at a certain time. I also have to manage my college work alongside CAT coaching so I understand how travelling can take ... View more

Yes, you can get admission to college, but get seat in top colleges like IIMS, and others it is impossible. But, you can try for other private college which provide you seat under institutional quota. But, for those also you need to be eligible. The eligibility criteria for every college is different.

Happy to help!!,

Generally, it depends on the fact that how strong are your basics I.e till 10th. Mathematics and all.
If that's fine and you believe you are strong in basics.
You can have some time for you.
Else, it is suggested that you may join in the first year itself.
mostly students tend to join it by the end of 2nd year or 3rd year starting.
Anyway. there no set rule for this.
But it is good that you join it.
The earlier the better.

fsociety,

Yes, you are eligible for CAT Exam.
The qualification criterion that is needed for a student to apply for the Common Admission Test is a graduate degree from an approved college. The students can be from any stream, but they are required to have a score of at least 50 percent in their final exams. Students of the SC/ST/PH and OBC communities require only 45 percentage marks. Those who are writing their final year exam are qualified to appear for the exam too. Approach a good institute like TIME as it is very hard to prepare all by yourself.
