Take a study material and start studying chapter wise, solve problems on that topic and take 2 tests after every chapter. You have to analyze your 1st test that where you did the mistake and work on it and then take 2nd test with full preparation so that you'll finish that topic right away. Note- Make notes of all important formulas and points somewhere so that at the exam time you can make a quick recap. Or you can get the formula files online also. There are 3 sections:
*Section 1- Verbal ability and reading comprehension having 34 questions
*Section 2- Data interpretation and logical reasoning having 32 questions
*Section 3- Quantitative ability having 34 questions.
100 questions will be asked to the candidate to test their overall aptitude. The questions from each section are multiple choice based questions and also having negative marking if you choose the wrong option.
Sorry to say, but 54 percentile is not accepted by any MBA college or institute in India. CAT score should be between 65percentile to 90percentile then only you have chances to get admission in a good college. So, it's better to prepare yourself for CAT 2018 as well as and work hard for better results.
