Chances are very low to get a call from a good B-School. You may get calls from tier-II/III colleges with a good academic profile and work experience (if any) will help in enhancing your chance to get a call. At least 70-75 percentile gives a good chance to get a call. Another chance is, you can apply through CMAT score. Some colleges you can look for Alliance University, Asia-Pacific and Modi University.
Good luck.

Hi Rohan,
You CAT percentile is not your percentage result, but a rank that indicates how many candidates have scored lower than you in the exam. Hence, it is possible that a number of candidates can have the same percentile. You can refer to this useful video about CAT percentile to have a clear idea https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6r0_3UslSM.

For CAT, I would suggest you to join a good coaching institute and also give various sets of mock tests. This would help you to know where you even stand at the end of the day. Exam is quite tough. But, if you keep giving mocks and know your strengths, you can crack it. If you don't want to join a coaching class, get the books required, start practicing and buy various mock tests online and keep practicing. Books recommended: Time class books or either IMS class books.

I was scouting for the syllabus for CAT to put it on some other forum, but could not find any of the websites able to actually give a syllabus which I would be satisfied with. But broadly speaking the following areas are which they test you on:
Quant - The topics that come in this section have varied. Initially there was quite a bit of weightage for the questions on Numbers. Of late the weightage for Numbers have gone down, but there is more weightage for ... View more
