S. Chand’s books and other similar books are good for quantitative aptitude in CAT.

You should opt for TIMES or IMS, both the institutes have good brand value and fee structure is low too.

There is no limit to the number of attempts for CAT.

I personally found TIME to be very beneficial. You can also check out other classes like Career Launcher and IMS.

I would recommend that you try out the study material from IMS / TIME / Career Launcher as your first resource.

There can't be a definite number determining that so many attempts will fetch you a 95+ percentile in CAT.
Given the pattern and standard of the CAT question paper, a score of around 140150 would be able to take you around that desired 95th percentile mark. But then again, it is completely dependent on the question paper. If the quality falls or if the questions tend to become tougher, this mark is bound to vary.
