<p>UIET admission is based on the candidate's rank in JEE Main for B.Tech and 12th percentage for other courses. For the M.Tech programme, candidates are shortlisted based on their PGCET. Two months is not very long time but with good efforts, you can definitely crack it. You just need to practice more and more and have to focus on your weak areas.

For getting admission in MBA institute, you need to maintain at least 50% in 10+2+3 academic career, so you are eligible for CAT exam as well as admission in MBA institute, you can ignore your LLB score when you apply for MBA.

The Syllabus of CAT is divided into mainly 4 categories: -
English / Verbal Ability: -To prepare well for this section, the following things are recommended: -
1. Read Newspaper daily like The Hindu or Times of India.
2. Read the Supreme Court issued statements of cases which lie in your area of interest like the recent removal of BCCI President Anurag Thakur.

You can appear in CAT 2016. I would suggest you to take CAT 2016 this year. Any graduate candidates with a Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for common admission test.

It's not like that you are preparing for the exam and expecting a good percentile and are from non-engineer side. It totally depends on you, your preparation and confidence that you will get good percentile. As you are very well aware about the fact that each year, more than one lacs students appear in this exam and each year, it is becoming tough. So, according to me, you have to prepare for a very tough competition and improve efficiency in your answer pattern. For getting a good percentile, you have to solve previous years papers and sample papers as much as you can. So, best of luck.

Both these exams are good for a bright future but just because NLUD conducts its exam that's why it makes it distinct and also AILET is comparatively tougher than CLAT but irrespective of all of this, I'd suggest that you should wholeheartedly give both the exams and do not stress.
