Cut offs are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 2847 and 17907. <p>If the seat allotment is done in JoSAA counselling for BTech in IIT Mandi, then the fee is not refunded whether the candidate joins the course or not. It is refundable in cases where student joins the course after paying remaining fee and leaves on or before registration date and applies for a fee refund.</p>

Of course, IITRAM is a good college for placements. But, there are many colleges which have good placement record in EE, like Jaypee, Galgotia university, LPU, Anand International College Of Engineering College etc.

None of the NITs or IITs offer mechatronics at the undergraduate level - not for the 4-year course and also not in the integrated or dual degree courses. Actually, Manipal offers mechatronics, SRM also offers it, so you could consider private or deemed universities if you are very keen on doing mechatronics at the undergraduate level.

You need to apply for IIT JAM exam conducted by IIT for pursuing M.Sc in IIT. I think now application procedure is shut down, but you can once check on the site. Good luck.

No, NITs and IITs don't accept MAT scores for admission. It is compulsory to have a valid CAT score to get admission into IITs and NITs for MBA programs.

No, IIT doesn't have any specific automobile engineering branch. It is a small part of mechanical engineering. If you want to work as an automobile engineer then you can take mechanical engineering in IITs and from there you can get into automobile companies.
