Old, simple and helping nature,

Let me clear few things. To get admission in IIT, one must clear JEE Mains as well as JEE Advance with good ranking.
For NITs admission, you need not appear for JEE Advance. A good rank in Mains is enough.
Next comes OBC category. Unlike SC/ST or OBC, there are two categories further. Creamy layer and non-creamy layer. If your family income is up to Rs.5 lakhs, you are non-creamy layer. But, if it is above that, you will be treated as creamy layer and you will be treated as general category student.
And, you don't need to score a 90% marks in your class 12th boards. In fact, 70% marks is the eligibility criteria for JEE Mains.

I don't think, there exists a thing of 100% placements practically. Be it any college, institute, any stream or any course. It can be very good may be more than 90% but it cannot be fully possible. 90% means that almost 9 are getting placed out of 10.

A CGPA of 6.0 is the minimum requirement. But, it's important to note that admission to IISc or IITs is highly competitive, and simply meeting the eligibility criteria does not guarantee admission. You should focus on your academic performance and aim for a high CGPA throughout your undergraduate programme. This will not only make you eligible for admission to IISc and IITs but also increase your chances of securing a good rank in GATE.

The coaching class doesn't matter. I think a coaching class will only teach how to rate a topic rather than how to study the topic. So, always remember the student from Akash, Bansal, PACE, ALLEN, etc. never wins the Nobel or Barat Ratna prize because they have studied only JEE or boards.
