This year paper is little tough and lengthy as compared to last year so I think cutoff will probably go down. According to me for
General category 115-125Obc. 110-115ST. 60-65
SC. 40-50
For a general aspirants to get a seat in good IIT with good branch, rank should be under 6500. JEE advance marks are also valid for many other institutes also.

With an 89.1 percentile in JEE Main and an OBC-NCL rank of 53502, there's a good chance of getting a seat in some NITs, but getting into an IIT requires a higher percentile and ranking. While an 89.1 percentile might not be sufficient for the top NITs, it can still lead to admission in newer or less-demanding NITs. To increase your chances, consider participating in the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) counselling, as it may offer better options.

Hello Nikhil,
The Answer to your Question is no. There is no other exam rather than JEE Advanced to get Admission in IITs for B.Tech. You have to qualify JEE Mains to give JEE Advanced. And, you have to score well in JEE Advanced and get a good Rank to get an IIT of your choice and a branch of your choice.
Hi,
You need to appear for the qualifying exam (12th standard exam) in the year in which you will be writing JEE or you should have completed a year before you are appearing for JEE Mains and Advanced.
So probably at the age of 16 years you can appear or JEE main and advanced.
Then you must have at least 75% in overall percentage and aggregate marks in PCM of 75%.
There are 2 attempts of JEE Advanced and 3 for JEE main.
If you satisfy these then you can get NITs and IITs.
You will not get a seat in IITs at the score of 90 in JEE-Advance in your category.
I think this is because of the great mass of students coming here. These students include some great minds which provides a great environment like kotak has around 1.5 Lacs students so you get a good competition and faculty members are vastly trained.
Not every student who graduated from IIT gets a good job, but the average package is 6 lakh rupees per annum.
Of course, Amrita is quite a good one but IIT's were considered as the institutes of national importance.
Also, reputation and opportunities were high in IIT's
so it's completely your decision as per your interest and situation.

For NIT and IIT, you can get more deep knowledge than state board universities. You can get good placement and learn more new things.
Yes, huge difference is there. IIT is the best then NIT, BHU and then Central University and Amity.
It is possible, but is extremely difficult. The paper for IIT Advance is very tough and complex to prepare without proper guidance. To see if you have a shot, solve a previous year question paper, and see if it feels easy or difficult to study and then plan accordingly.
You have 50-50 chances to get admission there. Just take admission wherever you are getting. Just apply for it.

Hello Murlidhar,
I think you are asking for the top IITs. There are nearly 15 IITs in India. Among them, IIT-Madras, Bombay, Guwahati, Roorkee, Kanpur, kharagpur, Delhi, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Indore are the top IITs. There are other IITs like Mandi, Tirupathi, etc. which are not among the top list. Some colleges like BITS-Pilani, VIT-Vellore are better than those.
