With a SC category rank of 5076 in JEE Advanced 2024, admission to a prestigious IIT may be difficult for popular programs like mechanical, electrical, or computer science engineering. On the other hand, you might be able to get into less competitive programs or at more recent IITs. Investigate options in engineering branches such as Metallurgy, Civil, or Chemical Engineering; take into account IITs with higher closing ranks for students in the SC category.

The questions of CBSE and IIT are bit different. If you think that you can manage coaching and school smartly and you can score better, then you should go for coaching. Also it would be better if you could manage studying for IIT JEE exams.

The eligibility for admission to NITs and IITs for PwD candidates is based on various factors such as the category of the candidate, the availability of seats, and the cutoffs for that particular year. However, based on the previous year's cutoffs, a PwD candidate with a rank of 2313 in the PwD category is likely to be eligible for admission to some of the NITs and IITs. The specific NIT or IIT that the candidate can get admission to will depend on the availability of seats and the cutoffs for that particular year. The candidate may have better chances of admission to the newer NITs and IITs and the branches with lower demand. Similarly, a... View more

First of all, I would really congratulate you for getting a good rank in JEE Mains. With this good rank as well as category benifit, You can get top branches like ECE or EEE in top 7 NITs like NIT Trichy, VNIT, NITC, NITW, NITRKL, NITK or MNIT which is a very good thing! Whereas it might be slightly difficult to get CSE branch in Top 7 NITs as CSE branch has generally very high cutoff but you can still aim for CSE Branch in any of these 7 NITs (except for NIT-Trichy). Now talking about IITs, you need to provide your JEE Advanced Rank as JEE Mains Score cannot give you admission to IITs. So with this rank, You have very high chances of gett... View more

Hello Saurabh,
Well, cutoff seems to vary every year so it’s quite tough to predict but however, if you score around 110-120 in advance you will get any IITs.
All the best.
No they're the first options
Offcourse both the institute offer the same courses and make you same degree that is of Bachelor in technology and by joining both these institutes they offer your good package after the degree but according to current studies iits are more often good from NIT as IIT's have been given to the students who get a good JEE rank and NIT is also given to students who are good in studies who qualified JEE Advanced but just students who get less rank are generally goes to NIT colleges but both these colleges are good and you can go anywhere but you should prefer IIT more.
