Hello there, to answer your question I must say that institute does not give you placement, institutes train you educates you to grab your placement . and so does our IIT ISM Dhanbad. The placement is not 100% in campus but yes no student remain unemployed even. So it all depends on the student.
To answer your second question, 2017 placement is still in progress, till now most deserving students have already got their placements, this year highest is about Rs 9 lakhs, which is even 3 times the money you invest here. In terms of ROI, it's too good. The lowest goes around Rs 4-5 lakhs.

It's pretty good. In fact, MBA here has good ROI. We have a great mix of students (almost 40% of the batch of 112 students) who have relevant work experience in the IT sector across various domains-Manufacturing, BFSI, Core IT, Oil & Gas, Telecom, etc. All types of companies including IT and FMCG visit the campus. Since the institute has 100% placement, you will definitely get a job in a good company.

The arrestment for CAT varies every time, depending on the difficult position of the test and the number of aspirants. All the three are having the same scope because all the three departments merged long time back. Unfortunately, the syllabus committees of our universities are still sleeping. I do not know when they will wake up. ECE & EEE must learn and implement programming in all the 4 years. The same way the CSE must learn to implement electrical and electronics all the 4 years. Today 90% of electronic products call for programming. The IoT segment need lots of high end programmers.
Except 1st semester, programming is not taught in EEE & ECE. Programming is a skill, which is most required by industry. If you take CSE at least you will be doing so... View more

Marks in JEE Advanced do not decide the stream you choose, the rank does. Last year paper was so easy that the people who got 50 to 60% marks did not get a reasonable rank but the paper of 2016 was very hard and scoring more than 50% got students AIR under 2000. So the rank will be decided on the basis of difficulty level of the paper. Between CSE in IIT Bombay closes at around AIR 68. So if you want the best branch in the best college, better start working very hard.
