As per the new eligibility criteria only those students will be eligible for appearing in JEE Mains whose score is more than 75% (for general category) and 65% (for SC/ST students). If you aren't eligible, apply for Improvement exams and you have to appear for all five subjects. Hope you got your answer.

Life Sciences or related courses), NIT Manipur, and NIT Sikkim through later rounds of CCMN counselling, as Life Sciences seats are easier to get than pure Biotechnology. Pritesh don't go with which stream is better. Go with what you want do after studying B.Tech. You may take following considerations. If you like computer, want to build crazy application or something related to software go with Computer Science engineering. Sharpen your mind and intelligence. Don't focus on the trend listen to your needs. Start by taking small steps. Avoid any activity of getting depressed. Try thinking logically. Try solving problems rather than getting answers. Work hard for hours. And the smartest though should be " just focus of solving a 6 hours paper well rather than fighting with 12 Lacs smart peoples. " If you solve that 6 hours papers, you'll ultimately beat that crowd.
