In my opinion, HC Verma is a sufficient tool for JEE mains and advanced. If you have a strong foundation, then solve problems from it. This will strengthen your concepts. However, if you want to make your fundamental clear, I would suggest you to refer some other good books like Pradeep or ABC.
All the best.

Repeat one topic two-three times at least and after a month revise the same topic at least once. Avoid taking help from guides or solved questions unless you are unable to solve the question and tried two-three times.
Hey Ratan,
It's good that you are expecting this high percentage in Class 12th but you need to fill the application form of JEE Main in order to get admission in IIT because direct admissions don't take place in those institutions.
Once you qualify Mains you have to give JEE Advanced and according to the rank that you get, it will be decided whether you will get aerospace engineering in IITK or not.

By giving NDA, you are qualified for IMA, INA and Indian Academy of Air Force. After passing from NDA, you get direct Lieutenant rank or Captain rank in the given regiment. By giving IIT JEE Mains or advanced, you get to become a reputed engineer. Choice is yours. I'll go for NDA as a soldier lives by chance, loves by choice and kills by profession.
Hello Kartik,
When a student seeks admission in an institute for a particular course, whether he will get admission or not is determined by his position in the merit list & whether he fulfills eligibility criteria or not. Once a student clears JEE Advanced he is cleared to seek admission in any undergraduate course conducted by any of the IIT's. His AIR will decide whether he gets admission or not. For the branches you have mentioned, eligibility criteria is same and hence your merit list number only will decide your admission. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about the top colleges. <a href=... View more
