In my view Abhishek IIT is better for B.Tech. Yes, USA would be definitely better for a post graduation course, so that you can even join an American company to work there and make a career, if you so desire.

3-ML Khanna-Coordinate Geometry

I am not mentioning books like Irodov and Krotov because these books are full of heavy subjective questions which can be learnt easily by solving previous years IIT questions.
First of all, congratulations, for scoring 480 marks in GATE. With that score, I am sure you can apply in all IITs and NITs. Still, you have to wait till they announce their cut-off list. It changes every year.

It is a question to be asked before the answer to your question is written. From where you have done your B Tech? If that had been from a place which is becoming your limitation to get a good job then you must join an IIT which is premier institute and is a name for employers. An M.Tech means a real Higher Degree to. Claim good jobs in Research and development as well.

Well, that depends on you. If your concepts are cleared, and you are very much determined, then drop a year. It will not be going to affect you much. But, if you are not quite certain, then take up any good college. hope this helps.
