#NITian,

You can try for IIT. You will be benefited by the reservation quota and you might get a lower branch in one of the newer IITs. So, try for these but don't be dependent only on IITs. Go for counselling for other colleges too.
Good luck.

Only a small number of foreign universities accept JEE scores for enrollment in undergraduate programmes. For entry into their undergraduate programmes, the majority of universities really take SAT scores, but a few also accept ACT scores. To study overseas, you would also need to demonstrate your English language proficiency. Two tests that will demonstrate your English language skills are the IELTS and the TOEFL. Before choosing the exam you would take, make sure to check the university's requirements for it. Indian exams are not frequently recognised in other nations.

Educational Counselor,

Hi,
You are required to have full-time work experience and if the intended job you want to do is a part-time one it won't carry any weightage. Teachers or educators are highly valued so if it is a full time job it will be accepted. However only imparting education from textbooks won't do any good. You have to show your leadership, innovative, creative, managerial skills as well as your job. So find out ways of how you can improve the job profile and go ahead with it. If you don't have work experience or no full-time job an MiM is a better option. It will have better options and perhaps may land up in a top ranking university which won... View more

Hello Siddharth,
To pursue MBA from IITs, you need to write CAT. For the private colleges, you need to appear for the specified entrance tests (if available) or else they would also accept based on scores in top exams like CAT, MAT, and XAT etc.
So, for private colleges you need to verify the admission procedures carefully.
