No In IIST there is no seperate JEE exam. For admission IIT JEE entrance examination marks would be considered.

Here is the update about the 2022 IIT JEE pattern change due to the pandemic. There will be no change in the 2022 IIT JEE Pattern. However, NTA being the leader' pulling out surprises can pull one out of nowhere. The last time when NTA changed the JEE Mains pattern was for the year 2020 when they introduced the Numerical type of questions and the change in the pattern was announced in the month of January. There is an exam which is IISC P.Hd entrance test. I would suggest you to attend to get seat in IISC and IIT for Ph.D in Chemistry and their cutoffs.

For OBC candidates if they have ranked within 2000 in IIT JAM exam Physics then they have a chance of getting into IIT. With rank 2530, it will be better to opt for Central University of Rank. ( Admission will not be based on IIT JAM Physics rank ).

Yes, you are eligible. You need to have a Bachelor’s degree in Physics or Mathematics or CSE or EE or ME. You need to appear for JAM exam for admission in this course.

JAM is for Masters, and NIOS is a board for class 10th and class 12th. There is no link between them. JAM board is more concerned with your eligibility test and your qualified degree.

Candidates can find below the JAM eligibility criteria which are common for each programmes across institutes for appearing in the postgraduate Science admission test.

First of all, you should check of all the options that you have in your hand. If you are devoted towards IIT and you think you can do it, then you should take a drop but remember drop is really frustrating so you should have enough to manage with it. Another factor affecting it is that it has to based on your this year marks. If you score around the cut-off so you can try but you have to prepare yourself to get around 200 marks. To give the IIT JAM exam, 3 years gap will not any hurdle.
Yes, you or anyone can still give an exam with a gap after the bachelor's degree programme. But if you clear the TIFR exam then they might ask you for such a long period of gap after the Bachelor's degree programme, ( during the interview ).

Hello, Hope you are doing well. You can start with youtube series of topics and refer a multiple choice question book. Do learn some tricks and basics through youtube topic wise and solve the problems from reference books. This will improve your logical ability but requires some time. Coaching institute will cover your 100% course on the duration of JEE Mains break. That will boost your speed while solving the problems. You can choose according to your comfort.
