I would suggest not going for B.Tech, rather go for M.Tech course as you are eligible for that. You can give GATE exam for that and clear it to get admission in IIT M.Tech programme. You can clear maths paper now also for 12th standard as it is necessary to be cleared.

The marks obtained in class 12th may not contribute in deciding your rank in JEE Mains or CET, but it can veto your chances, if you do not score above minimum level required. Therefore, I feel that after completing class 12th, it is better to take a break of 1 year to prepare.
<p>Pursuing self financing M.Tech in VLSI from IIT Hyderabad is good as VLSI has scope in current industry and you are doing it from IIT, so it is better option rather than wasting 1 year.</p>
