There are around 11000 seats put together in different IIT's and other institutes. However, it's quite tough to predict college.
Hello, hope you are doing well. Sorry with these marks you are not going to get any government college if you belong to General and OBC category. For SC and ST category there will be some chances that you can get SGSITS Indore, ABM IIT Gwalior or JEC but for first 2 category there might not be any chances for all these colleges. All the best.
120 seats are available. However, there is no rule as such to fill all the seats. Quality of candidates is considered during the selection process.

Hi Abhishek,
What really matters is your 12th percentage. A minimum percentage requirement in class is 75%. So, I suggest you to keep it upto 80% or more so that you can be in the safe zone. No dear, there is no as such information of syllabus modification right now.
If you have any other questions regarding preparation or anything else please ask.
All the very best!
You can become an entrepreneur by doing any branch of engineering. All branches will give you sufficient exposure to start your own business in your engineering branch of specialization. However nowadays maximum entrepreneurs come from either Computer Science or Electronics and Telecom branches.

I will say, NIT-Rourkela as it's far better in academics and much cheaper. Yes, it has the best club culture and you get to study in the 2nd largest campus in the country.
You can go to one year Diploma course in Aviation, Hospitality and Travel Management, so you will get three ways job opportunity.
Institutes like Aakash, FIITJEE help students like you and me who prepare for JEE, they charge you according to your marks obtained in admission test, the better you do less they charge or else better you join IIT programme in your college they may take 5000/-for your books or else you can even get them on internet free of cost.
SRM is one of the top private universities of our country and the placements are really good and many MNCs like Accenture, CTS, Amazon, etc. come for recruitment. SRM University has its own exam called SRM JEE for admission into undergraduate programs. Your rank should be below 5000 to get CSE at the main campus of SRM University.
Rank does not matter here. You must clear the category wise cutoffs for applying for JEE Advanced.
Sorry, but don't think you will get a government college, but you can try some other university examination.
It depends upon cut-off. But according to this year, the cutoff were 81.
So, 160 is not enough for CSE in top NITs.
But, you can GFTIS and good state government colleges.
If you have confidence that you can get CS branch in any of the central government colleges then only I'll suggest you take a drop of 1-year, otherwise, not as you can also see what is the condition of the engineers in day to day life.
First of all, it does not matter how long you have taken to complete your B.Tech and IIT is a great choice if you pursue M.Tech from the same.
Hello Shreyash,
I must first congratulate you on your scoring so handsomely in JEE Mains. I feel you should get whatever branch and NIT that you desire. Dear Akanksha Pandey,
Yes, you lay your focus on IIT-JEE. It is too good to start in class 11th. It is proud to see such a woman with a future vision.
Placement wise, if you go for new NIT or IIT (new), there is very less scope. I think you take a 1 year break and improve your rank. Then, you can get easily any old IIT.
