Students lower in marks will invariably get lesser known colleges where placement is not all that good. Perhaps, your chance lies in seeking admission in well known private college.

It depends on which branch of engineering are you willing to pursue, because all colleges may not be able to provide the best for all the branches. If you are in Private College, then it might be possible by giving some donation. But, if Government College is there, then it is not possible to do this. However, some concession is provided on attendance on providing medical certificate.

If you are interested in Computer Science the best thing you can do is take admission in one of the top IITs or IISc and they will take it from there. The courses you do other than compulsory courses in the degree are very flexible in IITs and you can opt for the Computer Science subject, all of them anyway teaches Data Structure and Algorithmic Design with A language or two in course, you just have to pick the proper elective. Hello Shivika, We have many desires in life. But in the end not all get fulfilled. It's quite likely that Roorkee may not be offering the course that you want to pursue. In that case it may not show up as an option. But does the brochure say that this course is available? Or may be your qualifications may not be meeting the eligibility criteria and hence the option is not showing up. You can try once again and if failing then please do approach registrar for lodging complaint.
