You start your journey either from BA English hons and than do Journalism from well known university or you can start from BJmc programme. According to me you should go for English hons and improve your creative writing to bcz in the desire field person not only good communication skills but also with creative writing skills having advantage too. And in college time you should participate in debates and anchoring opportunities that will give you experience and confidence too

Training in anchoring, comparing, hosting is offered through media training institutes, acting academies, drama schools etc.
Entry into private production is possible as commentators, comperes, interviewers and script readers.
You can pursue either of these course programs in graduation:
B.Sc in Film and TV production,
BJMC,
BA performing arts and so on from some reputed university.
And opt for a diploma course in Anchoring/ comparing/ dubbing/ Broadcasting.
