Apart from this, there are smaller and lesser known Animation institutes all over the city which will provide equally good education will lesser cost. However, it is up to your and your parent's judgment to find out if the facilities and equipment are good before taking admission.

A lot of Govt. colleges and universities, as well as design schools, offers such programs in animation film making. Even there are institutes like Satyajeet Ray Film School, WWI, VIT, Loyola, Raffles, Srishti and DJAD which offer good training.

Both the courses are demand driven and have good prospects. It depends on your inclination and skills. If you are creative and passionate choose film & Video editing which is a part of Media & Entertainment sector. Check the report of Media and Entertainment by FICCI- KPMG.

Take any creative subjects or arts or languages. I would recommend that as you study for your 10+2, you start practicing sketching, to begin with. Try to observe things closely and sketch them.

It's good that you would like to pursue animation but I would always suggest animation depends on how much creative you are. However, there are plenty of good institutes who offer animation course.
