You must be very creative on the whole. USA is one of the leading countries in this area, one of the pioneers in building sciences so a good career option. A good degree in architecture from a good university is important. I doubt, you are advised to check with GATE authorities, visit their official website and contact them. UK degree has recognition issues in India and things are doubtful.
