The topics covered in the course are computation, algorithms, programming languages, programme design, computer software, computer hardware, and others. A robotics engineer is a designer, who is responsible for creating robots and automated systems that are able to perform tasks that humans are either unable or are dangerous. The main objective of this course is to ensure that students will have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence as well as Machine Learning in theory and practice. This course covers various areas related to machine learning and probabilistic reasoning. In addition, students will also be taught natural language and computer vision so that the students get themselves familiarized with the Science that makes use of machines able to execute tasks that require human intelligence. Eligibility Criteria-
Minimum Qualifications:
Pass in HSC (Academic) with Maths, Physics and Chemistry
(OR)
A pass in HSC (Vocational Stream) with Engineering Vocational subjects and any one or two of related subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry)
(OR)
Diploma in one of the Engineering Courses (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics)
(or)
Any other Equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education/Higher Secondary Board of Tamilnadu.
Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination in not more than two appearances. Candidates belonging to SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination in not more than three appearances.
Minimum Marks:
For SC/ST candidates, a mere pass in the qualifying examination will suffice.
