As per unofficial sources, the College acceptance rate is around 78%. This indicates it is moderately selective at granting admissions. So, to get into this college, the applicants must meet the entry requirements and submit the application fee. The general entry requirements must have passed Class 12 for admission to Diploma and Certificate courses. For admission to Advanced Diploma courses, the applicants should have a 2-year Diploma or university degree.

As full-time Certificate, Diploma or Advanced Diploma students at ACC, they may be eligible for an entrance award to apply directly against the tuition. Students can apply for an entrance award once they have been accepted into a course at the college. Recipients of the international student award who are in a 2-year Diploma course are going to receive the award against the tuition in both their first and second year of studies.

As the name suggests, a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) is a work permit that allows work in Canada after programme completion. Unfortunately, ACC cannot guarantee every graduate will receive a PGWP. Graduating from an eligible course at this college is one of the criterion, and Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) makes the decision. Do check the eligibility to apply for PGWP.

Yes, as an international student, one can work part-time along with the studies. If students meet all of IRCC's requirements, then they can work unlimited hours on-campus. Students can work whether the employer is the college itself, or an associated organisation such as the bookstore, cafeteria, students' association.
