Tuition fee at UCalgary is usually due by the start of each term. Students who are unable to pay their fees by then will start accuring a late interest worth 1% per month.

The interest usually applies to past due balance of CAD 100 (INR 7 K) or more.  A final notice will be sent after outstanding balance has reached 120 days past due date. Failure to pay fees by then can lead to cancellation of enrollment at UCalgary.

Yes, Indian students can take courses or research at another university/college while studying at UCalgary. These can be used as credit towards their current degree.

To enrol in universities/colleges that don't have an exchange agreement with UCalgary, students will need a Letter of Permission (LOP) from their faculty. Contact one of our Shiksha Study Abroad counsellors to know more.

An option is a course that allows students to explore an additional area of interest, outside their chosen major or degree at UCalgary. The first year of each programme typically includes several options.

Each faculty offers some course options that can be taken by students as per their interests. To know more about the same, check the official UCalgary website.
